Originally a painter, I first discovered my love for photography in high school, when I found an old 35mm camera in the back of my parents’ closet. My work is still heavily influenced by my painting and love of intense saturated colors.

I was fortunate enough to earn a full-scholarship to study art at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In May of 2008 I completed my BFA in Photography.

Shortly after graduation, I was hired by University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, School of Art and Design, to redesign and run the inkjet print lab.

The School of Art and Design print lab is now the most advanced academic inkjet print lab in North America, and provides at-cost on-demand printing to over 800 artists, photographers, and designers every day.

In my spare time, I work as a freelance photographer, photographer’s assistant and print consultant. I pride myself in being a versatile, hardworking, tenacious and creative problem solver, and bring a unique sense of humor and understanding to every project I undertake.
